Default driver's side access panel

so i pulled off the panel (i had to pull kind of hard) to see where i could run the wiring for a flashing led for an alarm and i guess the hulk in me broke all the clips?

IIRC from my other sc, this thing was held on with 4 clips and there arent any in there now. am i going crazy? i tried putting it back on with 3m tape as you can see but it doesnt work. anyone know the part numbers for the clips?

so i checked my repair manual and it doesnt have a part # or anything.. just shows how to remove it. if anyone knows the part # or clips that will fit/work, id really appreciate it.

iirc, the clips should be on the panel, itself, not the dash.

^^^ Thats correct, the clips are on the panel, should be 4 tabs on the back side with the metal clips which could have simply been bulled off and dropped behind the dash itself.

I think autozone, or pep boys will have the metal clips in the "help" parts sections..I might be going to autozone tomorrow, so I can check while I am out.

yep, the clips are def in the panel you pulled off. if you cant find them at autozone then try a junkyard. they should be pretty easy to come by. I think I even have a few extras laying around somewhere.

I am noticing the more panels we start pulling off these cars, little clips and stuff break. These guys are coming up on 20 years!

Maybe a little clip, screw, trim piece thread?

those metal clips never break (unless that's what you are going for). they do come lose, and as said before, fall off when removing stuff.

now, the tabs the clips go on, those like to break.
