i have an sc400, and both of my hood dampers are not working anymore, and i was thinking of putting only one, cause its really expensive for both of them, has anybody ever installed just one, does one hold up the whole hood?

the hood won't hold..it will take both. and if it did you'll only cause the new one to blow faster

remove both of them, the one that compresses easily is blown, the one that wont compress by hand is good, lmk which side is good which side is bad, i have an extra one
