SC430 seats into a SC400?

Ok, a progress update...The mounting tabs have been cut off the SC400 seats and welded to the SC430 seats. They now bolt right up. The brackets are not very far off in size and dimensions from each other. The much harder part is wiring the seats up. The SC400 uses older non digital signaling, and the SC430 uses digital signaling. The tilt telescopic, the side view mirrors, and the seats all have separate ECU's to control them and they are all connected to each other for memory. The chances of making the memory work are pretty slim, but the seats are now sliding forward, backward, up and down. The mirrors are now working and the tilt telescopic is functioning properly...But no memory in the memory switches. Still working on it. Anyway, Dan is phenomenal, and we shall see how far he gets it going. More to come soon.

Well, another update...After finally getting the electronics worked out, and the measurements for the brackets, tacking the brackets on for perfect fitment, the damned driver side seat malfunctions. The plastic gears connected to the cable that move the seat forward and backward were brittle and several of the teeth broke off, so the seat would not move anymore. The dealer only sells the whole seat rail assembly...$1,400!! I said nope, so Dan found a great condition seat that would sell the rail only and got that for $350. Had no choice so I bought it. The parts will be swapped over. The rest saved if needed in the future. Getting there...

Do you still have lumbar adjustment? What about the heating element?
Also, how much lighter are they than stock (do you know their weight)?
These are the seats the SC300 should've had to begin with; the round head matches the shape of the car.
I dunno why they decided on a square style. Anyway, got a pic from the front of the car, looking in?

More SC430 the Seat Build Pics
Look at these last two posts and you will notice modifications made to the seat cushions...The side bolsters were split in two by Lexus. Now that is one continuous side bolster. The front of the lower seat cushion was flush with the front curve. It is now extended forward to provide more leg support and to look more like a racing seat. Also, the front under leg bolster was carpeted by Lexus. The bolster is now covered in leather.

Dude. Was your car just at Spring Break Nationals?? I was just there and this looks SOOO much like it. I was taking pictures galore haha. If it is then sweet ride man!! Regardless it is, but still pretty cool that I would have gotten to see it in person lol.
