Default Would 350K miles turn you away from buying a 99' SC3 for cheap?

I am looking at buying a 99'-00' daily driver so I can keep my 1jz car as my project/fun car. This particular car in question has 350K miles on it, but its in really good condition. Obviously they are all highway miles. This would be my daily driver as well, so I want it to be decently reliable. I don't think I am going to have a problem getting this car, just looking for opinions. I am obviously going to seek out the Powersteering/oil/transmission leaks. but like I said I am just wondering. Someone obviously took care of the car because its in really great shape inside and out. Its black 99' Sc300. What would you pay for it?

Check the t stat radiator, head gaskets, oil pan, ask for a COLD startup to check for smoke. Honestly miles dont mean jack to me, a compression test is whats important IMO.

Thanks dude! I think I want to get it. They are asking 4K for it, but obviously im not going to pay that. I want to keep it ALL stock until I pay it off. Then it may go 1jz VVTi...my only problem with that would be emissions. But I know someone who can do an amazing VVTi swap if I just give him some $$ ....
I think some new bushings, and brakes if I have to. Idk what I would do to the motor other than timing belt, water pump, and fix oil leaks (valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket), maybe some new motor mounts...but other than that, I think this car could make a decent DD...

Good call on the compression test! I will definatly be doing that. And I will do the cold startup too. I never really let miles affect me, but ive never been offered a car with 350K lol

Yeah get a compression test, and when you first get it make sure you do all the basic maintenance fluids, belt, leaks, pads, oil change or whatever. But that car is no way 4k yeah talk them down to 2.5k-3k at MAX. Unless it has black interior then

A '99 is a good car to get no matter the mileage. A lot of guys buy cars already have cars with high mileage and do a swap and put on God knows how much many more miles and then claim the motor only has like 40k on it. If the body and interior is clean and rust free buy it. If you concerned about the motor, swap it out for a lower mileage motor and tranny/transaxle (gearbox). Enough said!

PS: My boy ALIGA (CL Member) got those engines and tranny's all day everyday for dirt cheap.
