Smile trying to change out my speedometer/dash lights? nice lights?put up your pics!

I just joined this forums not too long ago. and i have my 1996 sc400 for about half a year now? but some of my speedometer/dash lights died out on me.. so im trying to get new leds for it. im trying to make it blue for the numbers and my needle to be bright white. im going to use leds for all of them. or any suggestions out there? what colors would be nice? and pics please. also if i can get some help on how to change the lights, that would be great! [: let me know! excited to see what you guys got so i can decide myself too.

jc1314,

There are a ton of threads out there about exactly this problem and I'm going to show you how to find them by using the search feature of the forum and putting in keywords.

First click on 'search' in the menu bar up at the top and select advanced search. Takes you to the link below

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/search.php

Select the SC300/400 forum in the 'search in forum' field down at the bottom right

and then put 'speedometer' in the keyword field and change the option just below it to search titles only (this will limit the threads you get back so you don't have to wade through as much).

First thing I found is that you started two threads on this same topic within 20 minutes.... Don't do that (threads merged). In fact, I'd strongly suggest you don't start one at all until you try searching and looking at the forum stickies because you can get an instant answer without waiting and without getting flamed for asking a question that has been asked a bazillion times before .

Here are some links for you.

Main FAQ link at the top of the forum has posts on how to remove it
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...d-threads.html

Found using needles as keyword
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...hlight=needles

Found using cluster as keyword
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...hlight=needles

Found using speedometer as keyword
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...-96-sc300.html

Some other threads I recall (recent or different approaches)
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...een-up-to.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...plication.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...cluster-3.html (no pics but may be a helpful writeup on how)
