Nope. $3200 sounds a bit on the cheap side if anything.

Since I see you are in WI, you MAY not be in a major city. Your prices can reflect the amount of business they get to deal with.

just cause its more money doesnt mean it'll come out better.

all depends on whose painting, so inspecting their previous cars would be more important imo.

but if u go with the Maaco $800 special then obviously that wont last u that long nor look as nice.

I got quoted $1,900 to do an entire repaint of my SC300 out in Oklahoma City. I guess it's a lot cheaper out here.

I was going from factory Onyx Black to the Acura Nighthawk Black Pearl. It was pretty much a re-spray since it's already black. I never got it done because everybody said my paint looked brand new as it was.

It would've been a lot more if I went to Royal Sapphire Pearl or Platinum Silver though.

I think 3000 is an average price...

I got my paint job for 800 2 stage...It pays to have friends in the business

Maaco / ****ters paint in 1 stage
An average body shop paints in 2 stage
The dealership paints in 3 stage / high end body shop

Yeah, that's one of the reasons that I didn't go with a new paint job. At the time, my SC was bone stock so it wouldn't have helped anyway. If you can get a good deal on the whole car though or even do part of the prep work yourself, go for it.

Now that's cheap! If I could get one that cheap, I'd go for it.

That's a good deal!

$3,000 does seem to be the average price. I would pay $3,000 for a super nice Ferrari quality paint job.
