Fixed both interior door handle cables, removed interior and cleaned it all out, repaired door panel(s), not today but also de-amped and taped up all the wires, attempted to repair the stock amp harness.

I finally got my tires filled up except for one that's only half full. My portable air compressor blew so I have to send it back to Amazon.

Now I have to get this battery charged and I can finally drive my SC again after five months of it sitting in my garage.

swapped steering wheel for IS200 wheel. Got it off of ebay UK for $98 shipped. Wheel and airbag. Good deal, and makes the interior look so much better

Finally came across a Mine's ECU AND with a 40 40 40 configuration so it was a no-brainer to buy it. This particular unit was tuned for an aftermarket intake & exhaust as well as the usual speed limit cut & raise in rev limit. So in terms of the basic performance path for the 1UZ, this is pretty much the icing on the cake for me.

Should see it in a month from today.

Flushed the power steering fluid for the first time, no idea when was the last time the previous owner changed. Car was making a lot of noise from the steering pump but now is smooth as driving on water. Cleaned the interior and exterior of the vehicle.

I would love to get one of these. how much does it raise the power by? Would it work with a USA spec OBDII car, you think?

I was extremely lucky to have come across this one & by accident as well. For an example of power output check out http://planetsoarer.com/ecu/ecu.htm & see the dyno printout of the stock ECU vs the Mine's. I will likely dyno the car again anyway once I get it & post results up.

According to Mine's catalogue they only cater for the early non-VVTi 1UZ of the Soarer in the link below:

^ Well, it looks like everyone's going to be on the hunt for a MiNes ECU now.
