I set out to install the digital climate control and end the squeak on my dash from my head unit supports... but the car was dirty and it was a perfect day to detail... so I Washed, clayed, polished, and waxed it instead. I'll do the climate control tomorrow.
And it rained 3 hours later... lol, at least I got it clayyed, waxed and polished.

I installed a hardwire bluetooth handsfree device today. Very easy other than the tedium of soldering for molex connectors for future maintenance.
the kit used is an iSimple TranzIt BLU-HF and it connects into the custom aux port on the factory stereo (with a ground loop isolator). It's wired to hook directly into your FM antenna connection as a pass-through but I didn't like that as much as the simple aux port. The very small button it comes with went onto the radio face and has nearly the same shade of green as some OEM button identifiers.
Works very well but I will be switching the mic out for something smaller and more OEM looking (Nokia HFM-8 mono microphone... if it works). Mounting the mic on the lower dash panel just below the instrument cluster works great.
The interior looks almost exactly the same after installation and no annoying hanging wires!

I drove it to work with one side of the car slammed and the other side of the car at it's regular height. It didn't look that low when it sat in the driveway. It wasn't until I got to work that I noticed how low the car really was.
I'll run home later and raise it back up. It looked a lot more even in the driveway.but it turns out I'm almost tucking the driver side front wheel.

Swapped out my coolant level sensor. Guess which one is the new one?
I took the old one out last week to see if my small goopy leak was from the sensor or the tank. I was surprised to see: a) how good of shape the tank appears to be in, and b) how poor of shape the sensor was in. That chunk of the float (not sure what it does; it isn't connected to anything sensor-wise) fell off in my hand with very light pressure when inspecting a crack all the way through it, so just as well I discovered the degradation before it broke off in the reservoir and blocked a hose. I think the crack along the length of the sensor was allowing coolant to seep up along the wires and out of the top. The new one seems to account for that with some sort of rubbery black sealant around the wires.
I was going to just cap off the sensor opening and slum like the millions of cars with no such coolant level warning, but I discovered an Infiniti dealer selling a few of the sensors on eBay for a hard-to-believe $33 shipped ($80-120 plus shipping normally), new in box. They must have sold or serviced SCs at some point.

Added more goodies...
My mechanic bought another SC to part out. I took this carbon fiber ventilated hood, D2 8 piston bbk and the carbon fiber trunk. Fenders r flared 2" smooth to the touch, no ripples or waves. The Volk T -37's r up for grabs.
