I fixed the clicking sound under the car after the engine has been turned off. It caused by the exhaust/catalyst converter heat insulator. Total cost $2.50 for two ring clamps from Home Depot.

First post to this thread... I didn't do anything to my SC today, but I did a lot for it, placing my first Sewell order. (I feel fully initiated now!) Transmission mount, air filter, ignition ring (90% off!), center console screw cover, 4x window trim clips, 4x door screw grommets, 4x door panel screws, 2x headlight nuts, battery terminal cover, 4x misc. bulbs, 2x A/T shifter bushings (for rattling), and 6x engine splash shield screws, all for $135 shipped. In addition to a few needed things, that will give me lots of small projects down the road to fill in a few gaps as I go back over those areas. It's amazing how many little fasteners and caps get lost over the years.

I bought my silver SC400 a silver companion, 99 GS400
Just got it, and right away had to get rid of the ugly 16" wheels for some 18" G35's

Fixed my misfire type issue by replacing the ignition coil connector, but it was leaking oil today. Probably because it was on stands for a week and we already had a slight leak so it probably puddled up at the leak and then decided to all come out when we had the car running for a bit. So today we replaced the valve cover gaskets and since the're off, we're painting them silver right now. Looks good so far. Hopefully this fixes the oil leak issue... I'll post some pics if I remember when they're finished.

Bought her a proper spare tire, Supra TT OEM. Despite what is heard (and whet I believed to be true) G35 spares DO NOT CLEAR TT BRAKES!!!!! You've been warned.

been busy with some repairs. 2x cam seals, front main seal, timing belt, timing belt idler. A newer crank pulley and lower timing belt cover will also go on. I believe I had the original cam seals and front main seal. I exhausted 2 cans of engine degreaser before putting on the new parts tried my best to clean everything before putting it back on and I'm actually enjoying it and taking my time with this. . You can see how much oil I was losing and the grime that accumulated on the left and right sides.

I put air in the tires this morning. I might wash it after work.
