Finally took off the Espelir ASDs and put on Tanabe NF210s. I like the ride better and it is more driveable, in my opinion, and will look just fine when it settles a bit more.

Sold it (well this past weekend)
After months of sitting in my driveway I finally made the decision that I wanted to rebuild it...then abruptly changed my mind when A) the driver's door latch mechanism decided to break B) the hood decided not to open without extensive coaxing from a prybar C) Water Water Everywhere - trunk, carpet and seats were saturated (headliner was dry though), and a little investigation found holes in the floorboard. Decided there and then that I wanted to start with a better baseline vehicle. So I called the tow truck and stripped what I could before sending it off to the great junkyard in the sky.
The plan is now to find a rolling chassis with a good body & a clean title. 4th time's the charm, right?

I traded my stock 1996 SC400 in on January 14th of this year. Was reminded of that today when the State of Georgia sent me a letter for lapse in my insurance coverage on the vehicle, and I had to fill out a form to tell them it was traded in to a dealer.
It still looked pretty good and was well-maintained--I kept up on oil changes, etc, and washed it regularly, kept the headlights polished. But I had had it since 2000 and was getting tech envy for the newer cars out there. On my last trip for maintenance, I was told it needed new front bearing hubs and new tires. Figured it was a good time to trade it in.
I bought a new Subaru BRZ Limited, and I'm loving it.
I was tempted to keep the Lexus as a 3rd car, but really just didn't have space for it. It was a great car.
