Got it running in this 99 sc400. I had this engine in a 92 sc400 but I got a great deal on this 99 sc with perfect black interior so here it is for now.
two days ago I cleaned the headlights with toothpaste, works wonders! Yesterday I installed my new 6.2 inch head unit.... and today i will install my new back up camera and possibly take pics of her!
Nice fix! By the time you had the whole door apart, wouldn't it have been just as easy to rebuild the regulator? Style points for using spare pieces of wood to fix your SC.

the person used a 20oz bottle of Gatorade and Zip ties to hold the window up.
Took like 5 min to take off the door panel and all that junk, so not much time was wasted on this project. And the 2x4's weigh almost nothing, the door didn't seem all that different. plus, this was something I did quickly before work one day so I didn't want to invest too much time into looking for that perfect thing to stick in there.
