Hmmm. not a bad idea. My only issue is that I have a matching woodgrain RX300 steering wheel and you can't exactly wrap it. I don't think it would look good with a woodgrain wheel and this diamond stitch graphic overlayed on the wood. But maybe I'll try it out and let you know.

the highs are smoked vinyl, the headlight housings are painted, and yes im hiding the holes, as soon as my car is professionally painted ill have them filled and be soarer correct.

to start the day off i took some polishing compound and buffed the passenger side headlight and both center high beams.... i have been getting a rear bulb out signal when ever i have the turn signal on and step on the break so i investigated this situation... turns out that the lower driver side break light socket was severely covered in rust so i cleaned it.

the driver side blinker has been a pita since i got the car ever 4 days i have to re position the bulb in the socket or it loses all contact and blinks like 7's till i fix it again...


while in the trunk i pulled the damn cellular phone ecm (yes i plugged the 2 connectors together and checked power) as well i removed the cd changer.... im tired of it turning on everytime i start the car...


next step is pulling am amp rating on the stock electrical (ac on stock stereo all the way up) to see what the limits for a new stereo are...

took it to dyno. failed because i developed an intake gasket leak on the 1j.

Got her a pair of achiles tires on the front. While the tires were off, massaged the front wheel wells ( rubs a bit on full turns) degreased and painted them. Cheked tie rods, checked the wiring harness and any other stuff that I could checked around wheel well area.

Bought the car, drove it 125 miles home, dropped in the HID's, replaced the antenna mast, installed the custom cat back, replaced hood struts, fixed driver window motor, replaced all bulbs in the front bumper, shampoo'd and detailed the interior and now putting together the DIY AUX cable...

today i found out titanmotorsports can order the 1jz intake manifold gasket... and they claim they can get it from toyota. however whenever i provide the actual part number to toyota and lexus they can't seem to order it. what gives? does titanmotorsports have some inside man that can get JDM parts only?

ugh... they want 73 bux for it. just ONE gasket.
