Awesome deal, does the airbag work and is the airbag light on?

I jacked my car up to check an exhaust leak at the catback and turns out some exhaust shop used a metal ziptie instead of a bolt?! So, dropped the whole catback to take the spare nut/bolt to ACE and grab another set. Yes, I'm going to drive it loud and raspy to the store too

Should see it in a month from today.

Haha I remember reading the lextreme dyno info about this. The guy said he used a nearby bridge and floored it and took his trap speed at the end to compare to his stock trap speeds. I thought it was funny because my friends and I from back when we had our first cars we used something similar called the "rail test". There was a stop sign at a 4 way and about an 1/8th mile down after the stop sign was the end of a side rail. We would have a passenger watch the speedo while we floored it through this 1/8th and when we got to the end of the rail they recorded our speed. We had a chalk board in my garage for years with the results lol.. It was awesome, super legit!

Today I removed the coolant reservoir and cleaned the hell out of the insides, then put it back in and filled it to the full mark. Did a crank pulley job yesterday and thought I had enough coolant in the radiator (of course the reservoir was full) but apparently the car was thirstier than I thought so I topped it back off. Probably would have gone smoother and better if I had one of those fancy no spill funnels to really bleed the radiator the most efficient way.

I finally got the car running after six months. I also got a new battery and filled my tires up.

I've had all of these new parts and I've been waiting this whole time to put them on. I think all my mods except the turbo and and sound system will be done by June.
