I had them wrapped in CF before this and yes..that looked good so this will look even better..I am doing a two tone interior.. in the process of changing all of the poop brown parts to black and keeping the tan parts as is. I am waiting for my upholstery shop to finish my other parts. I already have other black parts in there and have new black parts at home..
Those black trim pieces look great. I want to start on the interior 2 tone swap also but feel like if the stance is stock it would be doing things backwards lol... I'll just watch for yours and learn first.
I got 128,200k and don't know if the plugs were done at 120k maintenance like they should have been. Any ideas on how to check without popping the engine open? How much longer do you think those stock plugs could go? I am thinking about Seafoam in the gas tank only without doing the plugs and then changing the oil too all coming up in early September.
It's pretty easy to check the plugs on the SC400, not sure about the 300 though. For me I just remove engine cover, then the engine plate, and you have your spark plug wires exposed. Pull one wire off its plug carefully, get a flashlight and inspect the look of the plug. Get a better look by sticking a socket in there and pulling it out. If it looks old and dirty change them. If they look clean and your car's running good leave it alone for a while. My car was running great, but after doing a complete seafoam it's recommended to replace plug, and I had the new wires already so it was a no brainer. I had complete history for my vehicle and never saw that work done, so I wanted to do it. The car was running perfect before and after the seafoam so the plugs and wires probably could have gone another 20K imo maybe longer.
Opinions on night-shading a small section of the 95-96 tails?
ummm you know, truthfully, if you hadn't asked that, I would have never realized the shading. I figured that was a shadow being cast on it. Though a weird shadow lol. I personally don't like it. I guess it doesn't really fit in or make any sense to have that section of the top red lens shaded? Know what I'm saying? Even unshaded, the only thing I don't like is the amber turn signal under the clear lens on the bottom. If that was painted red, or filmed, I think that would look nice. I don't think I've ever seen that though.

Fair enough. Thanks for the input.
I really like how the 97-01 tails have that separate inner section, I guess I was trying to emulate that. I wish they weren't so pricey.
That exhaust looks awesome. What is it? Does it sound as awesome as it looks? Is it just mufflers or is it catback?
It's a Tanabe Medallion Touring Axle back exhaust, then had exhaust shop make me 2 1/2" pipes from the cats flange back to the axle back flange where the Tanabe exhaust flange start..it does sound mean!
Changed the serpentine belt. First time. Lost alotta coolant in the process but the feeling of accomplishment was priceless. And bought some more coolant to top off the radiator
Started Dynamating the car and ran the necessary wires from the trunk to the front for my upcoming sound system. Had my rear speaker deck reupholstered from the poop brown to black and ran new wires for all of the new speakers going in.
