i installed the 3.92 diff from the SC400. pretty easy except i found i needed to changed the flange for the rear shaft on the pumpkin and find a 35mm socket. that was a biznatch!

but whoa. the RPMS dropped big time. like 40mph @ 5th gear is like 1500rpm.holy good gas mileage batman!

I know its going to be. Yes I have a 1jz swapped into mine and I read this was a recommended swap. But now my speedo is 9 to 10mph slower than what I'm actually doing. I really like how low the rpms stay tho. I am going to keep the stock auto 4.266 diff in case I want to go back to faster acceleration.

I tried to relocate my harness through the engine bay but the connectors were way to stubborn. So I ended up tucking it up higher.

Anybody have tips on how to pull the connectors out?

for the one right above the yellow airbag connector, get a normal needlenose plier, stick it in any empty terminals if you can find any, and just yank it out, grabbing onto the wall between the terminals. It'll take forever if you try to get it out by the clips or w/e.
That one should be the only one to give you problems; the rest should come out fairly easily.
