IMO we have timing belts run through here all the time and only ONCE in the past 5 years has a tensioner failed after one of my coworkers installed it, but it was an older car (like a 4Runner) and had a lot of mileage on it. Wouldn't do it any harm to replace it, but you don't really need to. More of a GM thing.

Also, don't forget to add coolant. 2 gallons Toyota Red coolant is preferred (needs to be mixed with water, doesn't come premixed).

I bought everything from autohausaz.com. It was something like 330 for these parts (all oem):

1 W0133-1608049 Engine Water Pump; w/ wtr pump gasket only
1 W0133-1613981 Engine Timing Belt
1 W0133-1619331 Engine Timing Belt Tensioner; Hydraulic type
1 W0133-1628507 Engine Coolant Thermostat
1 W0133-1628747 Serpentine Belt
1 W0133-1629901 Engine Timing Idler Bearing; Lower/left #2; Left Lower
1 W0133-1631915 Radiator Coolant Hose; Lower
1 W0133-1632919 Radiator Coolant Hose; Upper
1 W0133-1639016 Engine Crankshaft Seal; Front
1 W0133-1639695 Engine Coolant Outlet Gasket
1 W0133-1643194 Engine Coolant Thermostat Seal
1 W0133-1644162 Engine Coolant Pipe O-Ring; For water bypass pipe
1 W0133-1739229 Engine Timing Idler Bearing; Right

Would this list be sufficient for timing belt job? I will do it myself.

When you say OEM do you mean they come in Toyota packaging or just OEM as in every aftermarket part says like on RockAuto?

I ask because I'm about to go for the big timing belt service, and with the sewell discount it comes to $490 shipped for the Extended Timing Belt package.

Includes

Timing Belt
Water Pump w/Gasket
Timing Belt Idler Pulley
Timing Belt Tensioner
2 O-Rings
2 Cam Seals
1 Crank Seal
Thermostat & Gasket
Timing Belt Tension Adjuster
Drive Belt

Quite expensive, but I do want the car to last forever. I'm at 125K right now, and I know the service has never been done on my car.
