Seems a tad on the high side to me.

IMO we have timing belts run through here all the time and only ONCE in the past 5 years has a tensioner failed after one of my coworkers installed it, but it was an older car (like a 4Runner) and had a lot of mileage on it. Wouldn't do it any harm to replace it, but you don't really need to. More of a GM thing.

Also, don't forget to add coolant. 2 gallons Toyota Red coolant is preferred (needs to be mixed with water, doesn't come premixed).

When you say OEM do you mean they come in Toyota packaging or just OEM as in every aftermarket part says like on RockAuto?

I ask because I'm about to go for the big timing belt service, and with the sewell discount it comes to $490 shipped for the Extended Timing Belt package.
