$1600 SC400 worth it?
SC400 White, body 9/10
146,000 miles
-May need a new blower cause it blows cold and hot air but doesnt come out too strong.
-Needles are burnt out on the speedometer and RPM gauge.
-Speakers turn on and off.
-Passenger window fell off track? at least i hope. I can hear the motor but it doesnt go up or down. Tape is used right now to keep it from falling lol
-Needs passenger door panel
-When i try to turn its off pretty bad. I have to turn the wheel more than enough in order for the car to turn. Not just a alignment problem is this?
The guy wanted $2600
I offered $1500. He said no and wanted $1700. I said no the most ill pay is $1600. He said DEAL!
Now I have a SC300 that i bought for $500. but im selling it.
and NOW I ALSO have this SC400. I may keep this SC400 and go turbo.
So what do you guys think. Good deal or bad deal?

Blower 40 bucks at most for the part, needle rebuild 100 bucks, speakers sounds like a wiring problem, could be free, windown regulator/track 100 door panel 100.
THe turning may need a front end rebuild, tie rods controller arms which is prob about 500 in parts. You could be lookig at another 1k in parts and labor.

Honestly you should have pooled your money into buying something decent. Fixer uppers take time and money.

I agree,
the money your going to have to dump into this thing could be in the thousands.
If this person didnt take care of it properly which seems to be the case it could be a mechanical nightmare.
Buy a decent car that was taken care of and it will be cheaper for you in the end.
