The new ride... SC400 :D *Pic Heavy*
Here's the new ride guys, the pics arn't perfect but they are enough to let you people take a look. The cleanest SC I've seen for sale around here in a LONG time. No rust (Cali car) Not even a door ding, i couldn't believe how clean the body was when i saw it the first time. I'm glad I swooped in and grabbed it before some ricer got a hold of it LOL. The front floor mats arn't perfectly clean but just needs a carpet clean is all, underneath the carpets it looks brand new lol. I'm glad I decided on getting it

'96-'97 had similar (or same) engine convers. In '98 they went to that sexy vvt-i engine cover..

Thanks guys. Well I plan on doing a full light to LED conversion (except gauges beacause they are already bright white) Possibly 18" or 19" chrome 5 spoke rims, no idea what to get yet but not important at the moment. But what comes first is what you do to every new used car you get lol, full fluid replacement, check spark plugs and wires, distributors, etc.
One of the things that amazed me! Mint!
Well the engine cover thing was answered for me lol. Its got aproximately 125000 but the guage cluster was replaced because the speedometer broke, but he showed me the original so I know it doesnt have "188,000" miles lol you can tell by the shape of it anyway. So not really low miles but still VERY clean and well taken care of.
Thanks!
Yep I knew I was looking at the right one, went to look at it (an hour away from my place) and looked at it for literally 10 min and I wanted the car lol. But yeah I checked things over on it first of coarse but I was amazed by the condition of everything. I was expecting the usual broken vent trim, burnt out cluster lights, etc. But nothing..at all was broken or missing. But the dude did lose the key to the locking lug nuts uhg, but I have a friend whos dad managers a dealer and they can get it off with a special tool, so thanks for that! lol. But yeah I dont want to sell the celica cuz i still like it and it gets awesome mileage, but i can afford 2 cars with insurance at the moment. Oh well. I thought it was a good trade anyhow.

I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one. They are so rare to find where I live also. I saw ONE SC300 98 but it was at a dealer and had 144,000 miles and they wanted 10,000 for it. It was clean though. But i'd rather have the 400. I would've loved to found a 98 and up SC400 I want that 290 horse VVT-i! LOL but I still love the power of my '97 no doubt!

You got that right! LOL The only way to get a car with no rust around this frozen hell is to get an original cali car. I've never owned a car that was from this area originally. I have 2 cali cars and a had a car from Maryland that had no rust, so they must not use salt on their roads either.
