Just had mine out for the first time at the strip since I bought it, ran a best of 14.09 @ 99.5 MPH, 2.2 60'. Car pulls hard, I love it!!! Even won first place in the import bracket bash that weekend! Trophy and all. Nothing is as consistant as a 20 year old Toyota!!!!LOL....
It's an auto 1JZ with a 3" catback, FMIC, RFL BOV, mushroom air filter, stock boost. I put on a pair of 17" Kumho XS (255/40) on Mazda wheels to burn off at about 21psi tire pressure....just could NOT break into the 13's, even after some 25 passes. Need an LSD biiiig time. Time slip is around here somewhere....

Planing to go next wednesday. Jdm gte w/ usdm turbos, 3" fmic, 3" dp cat delete, 3" exhaust w/ only a resonator no muffler, 2 mbc running 14psi. Im really hoping to get a trap speed of 110-120mph. I have on bald 285/35/18 so i doubt il be getting great traction, but il be happy with a 12s pass.

Thanks for the reassurance and advice! I have an HKS Fuel Defencer on the way...just trying to figure out how to properly up the boost with the twins...I had a great MBC on my previous single-turbo 4-banger, but this is definitely going to require a different approach I think!

cant really crank the boost up on internally wastegated turbos.. unless you weld em and puta waste gate on.. but thats pointless might aswell go single turbo.
and you dont need a fuel cut defencer unless your running way high horsepower, i have a boost cut defender since on my stock turbos.. itll go up to 14psi
i cant decide on keeping my car, or shooting for the low 12s... ugh.

A fuel cut defencer is the same thing as the boost cut. That's just the name HKS calls it.
Also you can turn up the boost on stock twins with just a boost controller. That's the point of a boost controller. It tricks the wastegates and allows it to stay closed at a higher boost pressure.

I'll see about getting a second MBC, and a second boost gauge and matching both compressor outlet pressures to keep things proper...I'm seeing the two individually operated wastegates with separate hoses for each turbo...I'll just do some more reading and searching around here and a few other forums.
