IS300SS

hey ppl. i bought a 92 sc300 roller and plan on putting an aristo 2jzgte in it.

the car is an automatic and it still has the stock auto trans installed. the car is complete, just missing the engine.

I want to remove the stock auto trans and use the aristo auto trans for now (buying 2jzgte with 4speed auto).
Will the trans mounts line up and will the drive shaft bolt up? I've read that when doin the aristo swap in the IS the aristo trans is longer than the stock IS trans. True for the 92 sc300 or am i in the clear?

I think thats pretty much it. pry clears the huge abs system so no worry's there.

Thanks guys, please let me know. a friend tells me that the trans will just bolt right up, but after reading about the IS300 swap I have to ask.

you would need a 400 driveshaft and plum to fit the aristo tranny in the SC300

so I'll need an sc400 driveshaft to use the aristo auto trans?

What do you mean by plum?

The plum is also called I think the output flange (looks like a cone shape if I remember correctly). It's connects the driveshaft to the tranny.
