Are you sure that high temp paint is wise on an intercooler? Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome but your IC is a heat sync that needs to dispel heat as fast as possible- that paint is going to act as an insulator. All of the black ICs i've seen have been anodized as the anodized coating will transfer heat

Believe me, I had concerns about this as well. If you look at the intercooler the paint is not fully even. I pretty much just dusted the paint on very carefully and lightly. The piping is anodized. I tested this as well after driving 40min to work the IC is perfectly cool on the intake side. Warm on the turbo side. This confirmed that my IC is not getting heat soaked after a 40min drive.

The problem noobs have is they basically spray the whole thing and get everything covered in thick paint. That will cause heat transfer issues. I just coated it barly to get it to hide behind my front bumper.

I am seriously digging this! My cheapo boost gauge is dieing and I would love you long time if you share how you did it. I'm all for the stealthy look too, but just so I can surprise people and the last thing they see are my handicapped plates.

PLEASE SHARE!

Very impressive. I'm guessing it's just the camera angle, but the LED's look awfully bright.
