Will a Supra fuel pump fit the SC300
Hi,
I think my fuel pump went on my 94 SC300. I have a 95 2JZGTE and I think I have over worked the stock fuel pump for a long time and it finally died.
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF A SUPRA FUEL PUMP CAN FIT IN AN SC300? Thanks

thanks guys i just orded the pump
Thanks for your feedback everyone, I hope the installation goes smoothly. Is it possible to change the pump with 2 gallons of gas left in the tank? Should I disconnect the battery?
Also does anyone have a good write up on how to change the pump, any help would be great.

Update on fuel problem
Future SC thank you so much for taking the time to put that write up on here that helped tremendously.
I had a big problem though, the lexus fuel pump has a wire harness that clips onto the top of the fuel pump. I bought a Supra TT fuel pump and that has two screw terminals on the top of the fuel pump (-/+). I'm not sure if I can cut the harness off and make my own connection on the new pump. I dont know if that would cause a spark and blow me up when I turned the car on though.
Also I checked the resistance on my current pump based on your SC diagram, and it read ok. So I am perplexed, becuase the ohm meter read the fuel pump correctly.
...At this point I am assuming I have a bad fuel pump ECU, what do you guys think???

ill tell you something funny, i did mine with like 10 gallons or more in the tak i took the pump off and i was like oh **** that is close it was an inch from the hole and to top it off i was on a driveway, if i was on flat ground that would have been all bad. DO THE 12V MOD OR UR CAR WILL NOT RUN. ok good luck
