Default 1jz or 2jz??

Ok so I have a 97 sc400 with a 1UZ right now and I'm not shooting for the luxury look bc it already is. Instead I want that sporty racer kind of look.I want a fast car but not to spend as much. looking to buy a Vertex body, lowered already, JIC rims, and new steering wheel. So I'm debating whether it would be better if i got a 1JZ or 2JZ either turbo or supercharged. I need feedback and anything helps. The most hp with the least amount of money. Compare both for me if you could and have the time!! Thanks in advance!!

are you asking how much it would cost to supercharge a 1jz or 2jz, becuase if thats what you mean then you cant, only turbo.

if your asking how much it would cost to do a swap...

1jz auto=$4000-5000 stick=$5000

2zj auto=$5000-5500 stick=$5500-6000

correct me if im wrong but i do know its not cheap unless you do it yourself

just supercharge your 1uz... a 6 psi kit will give you 380 hp and if you put rush headers and a full exhaust you get 400 hp

jhot sold me my full 1jz swap for $1096 picked up.. they sell them shipped for about $1200-1400 last i checked.

also i'd really recommend doing some research, searching forums and what not, there's probably 1,0000 threads on here with the same question.

You can get a 1J with 5-speed, everything included on ebay for <$2500 any day of the week (including shipping).

If you can turn a wrench, there's no reason you can't complete a 5 speed/1JZ swap for <=$4,000.
