Finally got my r154 in. SOOOOOOO much more fun to drive. Infinitely more fun to drive. I highly recommend all of you to get rid of your autos.

I just ordered a 6 speed tt obd2 ecu off ebay. If I remember correctly, I shouldn't have to change any of the wiring, right?

maybe something just to get it to start but you have probably done that already. yeah the rest of the stuff is the same it should trip much fewer codes that way going with the manual. nice job I think that might just be the best way to go about it on obd2 ecus and not deal with the auto at all since it has trouble holding the power anyways.

Do any of the ecu pins ground the headlights? Ever since I did this mod, my low beam headlights won't turn on at all. All other lights work. I am thinking of trying to just take the wires from the high beams and connecting them to the low beams because I am fed up.

HID's or regular? maybe you blew the fuse or something? worth a check. I don't think it has anything to do with the ecu but I could be wrong I guess.

I have a 95, Cali, manual sc300. What needs to be done to both my O2 sensors? Both sensors have four wires on each. I just want my car running fine with only a tt ecu with stock diz and coil before eventually going NA-t.

Great to hear! So then this mod does work for OBDII folk just need to have a manual tranny to make it work well. What ecu are you on right now if you ordered an OBDII ecu off ebay? Also I guess I'll remind you to change your sig. from AUTO to STICK lol

my obdii tt ecu mod works, but not very well. even the best supra tuning shop in the midwest said that it will never work well. I'm on SAFC to trim back the fuel at higher rpm, and the car seems to run ok, but i have a misfire on every cylinder. I just decided to say **** it, and i will just drive this car until something breaks

It doesn't seem like the best idea to be messing around with misfires and boost but thats up to you.

I think the consensus on obd2 is to just not unless you don't have other options. I'm glad people are going r154.

I've been saying that a lot. I am actually very strongly considering posting it up for sale tomorrow

I am currently running on a 97 tt usdm auto ecu. Other than the 4 auto tranny codes everything seems normal. I can't go WOT yet because of my brand new clutch but I am not getting missfires and A/F is good 100% of the time. I could go WOT fine when I had the auto tranny so that shouldn't be an issue now either.

So you would say this mod is 100% doable for us OBDII guys? I figure since I'm already manual it should be.
