i have a 97sc300 stock motor for right now
I got a 97 TT 6 speed ecu
I will need VVTI coilpacks and igniter
Question. Can I used a lexus AFM? IF so which one can I use and do you have the part number. I have plenty of Lexus afm so I would like to use an lexus afm since I already have them. Bad thing I didn't mark which one for what model car I pulled it out of.

It would be nice if we can figure out some interchanges for that part

Now the idle surges between 500 and 1k rpms. After looking through other threads of "idle surge" i found a thread on the egr removal causing surges. I have my egr removed so i'm looking into that being the cause of te surge.

I have used the ignitor on many TT coil setups as you can usually get a better deal.
I think you could rewire the firing/injection order, but I think on the v6 the firing angles as in timing on 2 of the 6 cylinders is different from v6 to I6. Now for injection it's prob not a big deal as there is a large window for that but ignition could be an issue if its different. Something to think about.
I noticed this from people using the 4 runner cap on our dizzys, then someone pointed out that the contacts for some of the cylinders are in slightly different spots. Good thing the rotor / distributor is forgiving.

I got a brand new "080" Supra TT TPS and went to install it, I switch the polarity and got a linear 0.68-3.99v.
If I switched back to stock, the tps is backwards and won't rev at all really.
Somehow I am getting a 21 and 41. o2 sensor and TPS.
The car idles really high with no TPS but I can rev it somehow,, and surges with the TPS installed but it won't rev up.
I am working on getting an IAVC and o2 sensor, but the car should rev up clean even without these things fixed.
Any ideas?

Everything is pinned correctly, I verified about 10 times.
I put the DVM on the TPS itself .68-3.99v.
When I put the DVM on the ECU side, I am only reporting 0.01- 1.09v.
I assume there is a bad connection and I should run a new signal wire, to give the ECU pin 0-5v yes?
EDIT: FIXED Got 0-5v at the ECU.

If this post is too off topic, let me know and I'll remove it.
I built my own "HKS Fuel Cut Defender". It's an adjustable voltage clamp circuit where voltage in matches voltage out until a specified max is reached on the output. I wish I could take credit, but my electronics knowledge is not as good as this:

I haven't installed it yet, but wanted to let others know in case they want to give it a shot. It was about $30 shipped for the parts. Most of the parts came in quantities of 10 or 100, so for another $60 I could build 9 more. NO, I WON'T BUILD YOU ONE.
