i just drilled a hole and put the wires through. I think i had to cut and splice the wires after i put them through the hole.

good idear, I need to do this. When I installed mine it didnt come with the back cover so whenever it rained, I would get a lot of moisture in the lenses.

thanks for the idea masagsxr! i did the exact same thing when i installed my 6000K HIDs in the fogs lamps of my 06 GX470. hopefully the silicone i used to seal the slot i cut for the wires cured enough in a little under 24 hours. woke up this morning to torrential rain.

They look great and flow well with the headlights..but swap the "yellow" city lights for some led's soon, they really kill the hid look

Nice! You did the same exact thing I did...Except I think that I did a much better job at concealing both of my HID foglight balasts...I'd like to share that idea with you sometime.

turbodremz: Thanks for the idea... I'll do that eventually

BostonSC4: yup.. eventually. Not a priority at the moment

CrazySC300: Show everyone yours LoL.... ... But yeah, I could have done a way better job. I just didn't want to take my bumper off. I was going to slide it through the bumper crash guard.

Thanks for the write up masagsxr! Has anyone considered using something like this:

http://www.luxurymods.com/rubbercove...mphousing.aspx

so that you won't have to chop up your oem sockets. Unfortunately, I don't think the correct sizes are available but it's possible an auto parts store might have something similar. BTW, anyone know the diameter of the oem sockets?
