I tried this today and i couldnt get the damn fuse panel out to disconnect the harness.
how low are you? If you aren't super low you don't have to disconnect the harness. Just take off the current casing/tape the harness is in so you can get more leverage from it and tug it up above the metal lip in the fender well. Once you get enough slack on it, just tape up the areas that you exposed and ziptie it up there. That's what i did and it's been fine for about 3 yrs.
nice writeup. ive already had to redo about 10 wires due to this issue. ( If you break enough of these wires they will cause you interior lights to stay on without the key).
i found out that i didnt really have to do that, i just removed the fender and moved the harness above the lip and used some brackets to hold it in place. While you are in there without the fender you should also relocate the hood cable.
Are you talking about in the foot well or engine bay
I didn't even have a fuse panel in the way in the foot well
and you don't have to remove the one in the engine bay
but the plugs in the footwell are a pain in the ***
You unplug it from the fuse panel inside the car right? The DIY i was reading the guy said remove the (3) 10mm bolts and then unplug the fender harness from the BACK of the fuse panel? Are you guys unpluging them from inside the car without removing the panel?

I didn't move it through the engine bay though, i simply tucked it higher in the fender well.

I did it the same way as these two. The tire is going to hit the frame before it'll touch the harness when tucked up higher, so there is nothing to worry about (unless you didn't secure it high enough).
