Default Wood-grain Steering Wheel to match tan interior
The leather on my 99 three spoke steering wheel is flaking off.
I'm thinking about replacing it with a Lexus three spoke wood grain steering wheel. What year & model is the closest match for tan interior and stock wood grain? Thanks!

i have the stock steering wheel out of a sc430 and it matches up pretty well, its tan with wood, but the wood is a little more towards the cherry finish and the interior trim isnt...its not that far off and i think it works very well, its a gorgeous steering wheel and makes the interior look great.

I just bought one form a member here its from an RX300 and in the pic i saw it almost looks like a perfect match but wont be able to say for sure until i get it on friday. I will take pics to show when it arrives

Do you have a picture you can post? Do you know the year of the SC430 it came off?

I had a friend's nardi woodgrain wheel in my car for a while, it was a decent match for the stock wood.

I read that the 01 RX300 wheel is a good match.

yup thats what it looked like, But i plan on sending it to pattertek anyway to have it redone into either black wood or carbon fiber

The closest I could find was Burled Walnut from a later model Soarer. I think the original wood trim on the SC is also supposed to be Walnut, but it still doesn't match up 100%.
