At o'reilley if you try and ask them to look it up through an sc parts look up it wont come up. But if you give them factory denso # it's in their computer. Did this when I replaced my filter.

for sure, they should have it..

maybe my post was not clear to some people.. not being an a$$ just saying... THIS is the filter number... not i think this is the filter number.. there may be two denso numbers cause denso is oem factory part one is the gs part number and one is the factory SC one. they have different part numbers but an aftermarket filter that is not denso will not have two part numbers it simply says it works on both.. so get a 93-97 gs300 cabin air filter found at any kragen or orily MicroGard - Cabin Air Filter
Part # 3707
buy the filter, put your worries aside! <3
or for lazy internet shoppers..

AMAZON sc300 filter LINK AMAZON sc300 filter LINK

Question Mine don't seem to fit properly....

Hi,
I ordered
these these
on Amazon.

I opened the door and tried to slide them in but they seem too small to do any good. They flop around and don't seem to fit the hole perfectly going in like the ones in the picture from Planet Soarer.

I also got two separate dual section filters I show only one in the pictures below. As you can see, the hole was pretty clean but had no filter in it.

When I put them in, they just flop around in there. I was able to fit 2 (4 squares) in the hole no problem and they still just flop around. At no point do they feel like they are the correct part.

Does it look like the wrong part to you as well?

Studiogeek, You may have installed it wrong? **** of the cabin filter should lock into the plate/clasp locking the filter into the slit on the rubber plate. Does your filter have a ****? Look at the link below for step by step process.

I'm going to pull it out and get more pictures if it's not too cold today. They just seem too small for the hole. I couldn't find any way that they felt right or snug at all. I did not see any *****, just a little tab and you can see it in my picture of the filter above. A little black tab on the right of the filter.
My filters are smaller than the hole under there. The Planersoarer pictured filter looked like it belonged there (snug fit) on the way in (thicker). Mine just feel to small to be right so far.
In my pictures of the hole, are those "rails" in the hole (on the right and at top) supposed to somehow hold/guide the filter? Mine do not.
What are the dimensions of the proper filter for the Sc400?
(thickness crucial)

There should be TWO x two section filters, one goes in (you have to bend it in half basically, then insert the other half after the first half is in there) then you slide that one OVER to the right, then take the second one and do the same thing minus sliding it over. Perfect fitment

I had to take mine out during the summer time as the blower wasn't getting enough air flow with the filter in to get the AC cooled in time.

If you're getting huge bus in your filter area, you need to either FIX the screening on the cowl area or put it back on, you're only going to get minor dust/dirt in there with the OEM screen in place and not punctured.

Mine are way less than an inch thick. It is surely the wrong part.
I'll just order the right one.
Does anyone have a link to the (verified) correct part? (amazon if possible, but whatever).

Thank You!
