now while i'm all for restorations and i think your doing a good job, i was just wondering why? how much has this whole project cost so far? i'm just wondering cause SC's aren't very expensive these days, and the whole thing has me wondering why someone would pick up a 1500 SC and put so much time and money into it, when in the end you probably could have picked up a clean SC to start with, instead of investing the money?
just curious

For some I'd say it makes it more of their own. Your first 2 SC's were purely your own, and at that they were amazing! I do hear you though in regards to why not just buy a cleaner SC to start with, I guess its just a question of judgment or preference on behalf of the owner/ future owner. A build from the ground up could mean more to some than buying a done car.
"Built, not bought" is rather appealing to some.

Besides that, some people are very picky so even if they find a nice one with 97+ and black interior, its going to have flaws so they are going to drop more money on that anyways along with the expensive first price tag.
