Honestly bro its not a bad look. I'm about to switch to a shine front by the end of this year. I think they're the best looking kit on the market and one of the few non-vertex kits that nobody has fitment issues with. Varrstoens look great too, I wouldn't worry too much about whether your car looks like someone else's or not, all that matters is your enjoyment.

currently live in los angeles for school. might end up staying out here because the weather is amazing and the beach. so many girls

Don't take the mistaken identity thing too hard. We're on a forum where everyone has the same car, so having a twin is very likely, but the chances of you seeing a twin in person is really rare unless you're at a meet.
