Progress: Custom Origin aggressive sideskirts test fit pics
I had to trek up to my parents to put my xmas decorations back in storage in their big barn so I figured I'd bring something with me and make a few of your requests a reality.
So without further adieu here is the High Road/Origin Kouki aggressive JZZ30 sideskirts. Test fit.
Keep in mind that i did this quick on uneven ground in a snow storm with semi flat oem wheels on. The sideskirt is also only taped resting in the door sill. Nothing is tightened down or screwed in so that accounts for the gaps you may see along the door in the picture and along the quarter panel. They would fit fine if i had taken the time to mount properly.
Looks like the skirt flows with the flare on the front bumper quite nicely
Side view shows that these are 1000x better looking than what they used to be
Its hard to tell but the sideskirt does flare about the same amount as my BN type one Knock off rear lip.
They pass the test. Off to paint.
One thing I am now wondering is will this new 1/2" lower drop i'm planning make my car undrivable? I suppose I could always just get a bigger profile tire if I had to

i say do it. have you seen cars here in okinawa? s13s arent the only ones that have aggressive body kits. skylines, mark II tourer Vs, 1st gen aristos, and others have em on too.

Gotta get more aggressive with the rim, tire and drop to equal out the kit now.
Yes, the rear and sides match nicely- front seems too factory now. Time for more fiberglass and bondo.
Atleast 18", pref. 19"- with LOTS of LIP, and some poke- or this wont look "right", I'm think.
Get Bosozoku with it.

These side skirts are modeled after the BN Sports Soarer type 2 sideskirts. In fact they are not even as aggressive.
I could careless what any of you think. I made these from scratch myself i thought I'd share them.
Some of you guys around here have really gotten stuck in the whole cookie cutter routine. Wheels/coilovers/97 kit or autocouture. BLAND BLAH HO-HUM

where'd you go?
You know i was considering possibly doing something with the lower lip on the front bumper. Don't forget i also have the wing you sold me.
Might have a good line on some 18x10 +11s if not check my blog for the new wheel look for spring.
You guys are aware of the fact that the wheel i run on my car are 18x9.5 +10 in the rear and 18x7.5 +8 in the front correct?
You did read that the OEM wheels in the picture were flat and for storage didn't you?
I have lots of poke, i measured the wheels will be flush with the bottom of the flare.

That's really beside the point. This is a public forum. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. If you can't take a comment then you probably shouldn't post. Every one has their own taste and style. If this is your style, then be it, but don't go bashing majority of the guys here who prefer a clean SC that you can actually drive on the street.

A for effort
F for style.
not your fault though. the mad tyte yo jdm virus is everywhere
i congratulate you on doing it yourself. i love DIY. i dont like it though. not the original either. way too aggressive.
im not going to make any final decisions though til you are done. wheels make or break the look of a car. keep it up and show us the completed car in spring
