I spotted some rust on my front fenders in areas where the paint chipped when I rolled the fenders. I neglected to seal up the cracks and chips.

I know rust gets worse and spreads, it may get under the paint and keep going.

What can I do to stop the rust and seal it before it gets worse? I wasnt able to check the rear fenders, but will tomorrow.

The rears would be a hassle if it spreads. I would need a new paint job, since its not one seperate panel. The fronts if it spreads I can just get the fenders repainted.

I was planning on painting my whole car, but that changed, so I need to fix this asap.

you could sand it off and spray some primer over it. I'm assuming its on the under part of the fender and not visible from outside

sand it down to bare metal and get all the rust, then use a rust prohibitor then primer and paint.

I've used this stuff before on my Jeep. http://www.por15.com/POR-15/productinfo/1GB/ worked wonders. But I would suggest doing it the right way like they said.
