Default Replacing antenna

Okay guys my antenna on my 94 SC300 is broken. Half of antenna is snapped off and the rest of it will not move up and down on the car when the antenna motor tries to move the antenna. So my question is, will any OEM antenna from an SC300/SC400 replace this antenna? Or, will any $15 antennas on eBay that are "OEM style", which look JUST like the original Lexus ones work as well? How hard are just the antennas to replace, not the whole antenna motor?

the antenna is really easy to replace, just unscrew the antenna lug, and then remove the assembly from the car, and take it apart, there should be like 4-6 screws in total.. i think... just remember, put back the motor how it come from, otherwise when u turn on the radio, antenna goes down instead of up.

Yep.. Follow those directions and you will be good. Any OEM style antenna off of Ebay or local car stereo shop should work. Good luck.

Okay guys so I got my replacement antenna mast today and attempted to install it using the LexLS.com tutorial. All went well until I found out the wire on the end of the old antenna was snapped off inside of the motor and so I had to take out the motor and take everything apart and put it back together, which took me a few hours because it is REALLY a pain in the ass to do. Not to mention, you guys weren't kidding about that god damn grease/lube in the antenna motor. I mean damn, I really don't think THAT MUCH grease or lube is necessary for an antenna motor, but that's just my opinion. Anyway, so I hooked the antenna back up just like the stock one was and put it back in the car and tested it. I turned the ignition on and the new antenna went all the way up and all the way down flush to the surface when the ignition was switched to the off position. Now though, the antenna will go almost all the way up and almost all the way down, but it isn't working the way it was when I first put everything back in the car. I am thinking of taking it apart again tomorrow and seeing if something came loose but I was just wondering if you guys could know what it could possibly be?

If this antenna doesn't work AGAIN like the stock one that was broken, then I will probably just go with a non-motorized antenna like the S2000 antenna.
