Default Stock SC300 + 10k = ???

My dad just gave me his stock 93 SC300 (60k miles/5speed) and I have about 10k to make it fast. Major newbie here so just spit out what you'd do and I'll go from there. Looking to do an all around upgrade (engine, exhaust, suspension...etc.) Hoping for around 300-350 rwhp? Thanks for the suggestions!(prices would be nice too)

1993 with only 60,000 miles, and a 5-speed? Pics are a must!

with that many miles Id go na-t. it would be hard to find a gte with less mileage.

Spend the first $1000 into maintenance. And if more is needed, do it. THEN, i'd worry about suspension and wheels, and finally do a nice complete daily turbo setup.

Well with that mileage, I can assume that your Dad was the only owner so IMO the car has hopefully been well maintained! My vote is definitely to go NA-T especially since it'll be a one in a million shot to find a GTE with that verified mileage.

You're lucky as hell and congrats!!! Post up some pics...

lift kit with some 22s, lime green paint with altezzas and a ps3 screen in the dash, then find the biggest mufflers you can get and slap them on, don't worry about the rest of the exhaust

10k will net you a lot more than 300-350whp. You'll also be able to buy brand name parts if you like :P

IMO, follow with what imarshall said. Make sure everything maintenance wise is perfect. I would then proceed with suspensions modifications such as coilovers, sway bars, make sure your bushings everywhere are ok, if not replace those. Get a nice set of wheels and if you wish (I would since you're going to have some power) upgrade your brakes (Supra TT, LS400). Now begin your performance mods. Honestly with that low amount of miles on the motor I would use it and you could build a really nice NA-T motor. You can piece together your own turbo kit or purchase one from one of the many companies. Many people including myself have had very good experiences with XS Power. This kit is much less expensive than others. Other kits are made by Turbonetics, Boost Logic, Sound Performance, that's off the top of my head. I really like Boost Logic's kit. All kits are great though just depends what kind of power you want to put down. If you are a newb search the forums, learn about the 2jzge motor, turbocharging it, etc.. and keep asking questions (only after searching first though).
