You don't slide as much because you're gripping the steering wheel. Bucket seats would be better in holding you and your passenger in the seats

leather seats you will slide regardless. The only way is to put in bucket seats. Kinda defeats the luxury aspect. Depends on what your going for...

If your going for a more sportier look get buckets. You can take turns at 40 mph and still be planted while in leather your sliding.

Def not gonna put bucket seats. I'd like to keep the luxurious aspect of the car. Maybe leather conditioner applied weekly or something will help soften them up?

I am pretty sure that Lexus made the leather softer on the newer SCs because my seats are very soft, so I do not have a sliding problem.

I agree, BMWs have the hard leather seats, almost feel like thick vinyl.

Why not use the tilt on the seat? I have it tilted up in the front, and down in the rear.. Gives you that sunken bucket seat feel.. LoL Unless that is you dont have power seats.. Both my 92's had power seats.. The Sc400 and 300.. Never really had a problem..

I have to disagree. I have a 2002 BMW and they are quite soft. Maybe because I keep them clean and condition. They are a tad bit firmer, maybe because its newer than the SC, but I dont think its as much as you all are talking about.
