Always check the date before posting on an old thread. Usually threads over a month old start get old.

But you can always source a RHD seat which is powered and put in your car

Lose the luxury aspect of an SC by ditching the Lazyboy seats they come with? Rubbish.

The Supra TT seats bolt into the factory locations and the powered driver's seat requires only minimal rewiring for power and the seatbelt light. Best of all, they hold you in place and look factory. The leather is of a slightly different shade in the tan models but these can be custom recovered.

The driver control from sitting in them over the factory seats is night and day. They do sit slightly lower but it becomes familiar. The only downside is losing the memory function to them and having a manual passenger side (unless you get a RHD driver's seat as SEXC mentioned).

IMO the sc seats are some of the worst. Its my biggest complaint about the car. The car is not even close to being comfortable on long drives because of the seats. The plan is to switch to supra seats over the winter. I sat in a few supras then in my sc back to back and the supra seats are much more comfortable.

I would have gotten Supra seats, but they are hard to find. Ther was a set of RHD ones on e-bay at the time but they dont fit right and they were in Canada.

They aren't that hard to find in a USDM LHD set. Keep checking Supraforums classifieds and a set will come up. Finding them for cheap with perfect leather is harder but still not nearly as hard as finding an TT LSD. I got mine with not so good leather for $185 with the intention of recovering them anyway. The wiring was easy. The lumbar support alone compared to the more adjustable SC seats was night and day. It's definitely a choice though: my father would prefer the easy egress/ingress of the SC seats because he's older. The TT seats should have been a sporty option, however. They just make sense in this car.
