If you have TCS you should have a button near the shifter if I remember correctly that says "TRAC" or something like that. You press that and your TCS should be turned off.

You have TCS but you don't have a button to turn it off? If there is one, it would be under the steering wheel (at least that's where it is on mine).

The TRAC OFF button to the right of the shifter does it. If your car has TRAC, it came with one of these switches. Otherwise, it doesn't have the option. The only other possibility I can think of is if your center console was somehow damaged and replaced by the previous owner who installed one from an SC without traction control, thereby covering up the switch. Alternatively, the entire system can be removed from the car if you desire. One question: Are you getting the TRAC letters flashing in your tachometer as your trying to accelerate quickly?

These pictures show where the button is located and what your dash would look like if you turn it off.

If yours is a 98+ the trac button is under the steering wheel on the left side (closest to the door)

Hey new guy it would help to tell us the year of the car....
In the earlier years of the 1uz-fe the covers by the throttle body shown in the picture below have covers next to them. The covers either say nothing cause there is NO trac control or it would say TRAC indicating that there is traction control. Check under your hood and see if it is there saying that you have a earlier year model. If you don't you might need to have some maintenance done since you might have lack of HP.

I have a 95 sc400, TRAC OFF light on cluster(but not flashing), NO TRAC OFF button, and cover about throttle body doesnt say traction controll. So not to sure if i have traction control... getting mixed signals here because of the TRAC OFF on my cluter(again not flashing). Is there another way to find out if i have traction control? I want it to be turned off only when i would like but if i just dont have a bottun i want to turn it off.
