jus wondering if anyone has pics of grids wanna be "t37's" on a sc the reason i ask i am trying to not abuse my volks GTU'S anymore for daily driving my car is my work vehicle and it sees 150 miles of f'd up i-80 and jacked up 99 i am in the process of getting my rims refinished and straighten out but need some cheap beater rims for the meantime and was considering 18x10 grids or 18x9.5 +20 offsets

i'm not tracking with them there jus for daily use mostly for winter i am geting my volk gtu curbage repaired and one of the front minor bent rim fixed jus need some to cruise up and down 80 and 99 up here around Sac to the bay for work, so i dont think major epic fail like those slip streams would occur cuz i dont hop curbs or hit pot holes 6ft deep, slade was that your teggy that bit the dust in that pic??

t70 thanks for the offer but D2's look really cheeze to me flat black beater grid ftw!

I think they'd look sweet as long as you get teh low offset ones that are concave. The spokes are a little thicker than TE37's, but I think bronze or the matte hypersilver ones would look good on your car.

although rotas are cheap, what you get isnt always gonna be cheap. they keep making inconsistant rims in strength, so you really dont know what your getting. could be as good as forged, or as cheap at the picture. i believe rays forged made a test on replica rims and rota shown inconsistancy.

Those fake TE's look pretty nice, but I'd still get a used set of rims from Zilvia or CL wheels classifieds over getting a set of Rotas-- but thats just an opinion. (Think about it atleast, there are good deals out there!)
