Default 97+ Fogs DIY?

I have a 95 SC and i just got 97+ Fogs, i thought it was plug and play but it looks like i got to do some work. Do i need to buy a different connector or harness in order for my 97+ fogs to work?

97 fogs will not bolt in a 95 bumper. there are 3 different styles of bumper and fog combos. i'm sure they could be modified but it doesn't seem like it would be worth the trouble to me

He has the 97+ bumper

I believe there were several threads covering the wiring modifications necessary. They should sticky that stuff.

I just got RC car battery connectors and soldered them to each side. One to the body, one on the light. They clip in nice and tight, and they're waterproof.

you can buy and modify an HID wiring harness and tie them in with your parking lights. Thats what i'll be doing on my '93

I didn't. I used the stock foglight connector, chopped it, and soldered the new connector on. Why in god's name would I solder it to the bulb?

I have the intrepid fogs, but I'm guessing they're set up the same way....

just get the foglight housing connectors for a 97. if you search I think there was a post with the exact part number. then take the metal pins out of your 95 connector and put them in the 97 connector. no wire cutting necessary

They're definitely not, and they'll rust as well.....you should definitely put silicone over it or something.

they've at least held up well for me for a few months in the rain. Thats a good idea though romeo. Maybe I'll throw some heat shrink over the connectors this weekend. Thanks!

im guessing the 97+ fogs will fit the vertex kits. also 97+fogs possible on 93 sc3? and those connectors up top is for what again?

EDIT:
ok I just reread the connector part. so this means I just need the 97+ fog light assembly and it will be plug and play?
