Bride Zeta III with Bride brackets for the driverside, passenger gets a sonic motor reclineable seat with some sorta bracket made out of some sorta metal. I think my priorities are pretty clear.

I got a pair of ebay about a month and a half ago and so far they are great no signs of wear and I love how light and nimble the car feels without heavy stock seats or overpriced name brand seats. With the savings I ended up buying mkiv sway bar, and pair of new Falken tires and new timing belt, and some cash left to spend(cf hood may be next)

I have Recaro's in mine. I used Bride MO seat rails for the Toyota Supra. They pretty much work with any fixed or reclinable seat you can buy.

As for seats, quality and price go together. Cheap seats are just that - cheap. They wear out fast; UV fade due to sun exposure, fabric rips at the stitchings, the padding flattens out over time.

Safety. That should be a no-brainer.

There are budget race seats out there that are rated pretty high. You just have to look for them. And consider using used seats you find on ebay, like the recaros you see for other cars. They'll bolt up to the Bride rails I mentioned earlier

I have a set of ebay reclining seats. They are garbage.
The PO put them in since his stockers were messed up.
He was a bit bigger, but not big enough to ruin seats, or one would think. But it feels like the locking mechanism to keep them in a position has nearly given up. And it must've bent back at some point, because they no longer lock much higher than ganster leaned back.

i'm guessing they have plastic gears and get worn out, maybe if they're not reclined back and forth a lot they would probably last longer. i'm gonna go with ebay seats. i dont feel like spending a grand lol
