I like mine so far. It's got a ton of issues, but when I get them ironed out it'll be straight up sick. I come from a Mustang background, but I had an '86 SVO Comp Prep (1 of 83 made), so I'm used to driving uncommon cars and the SC fits the bill nicely.

I was excited before I got mine.....now not so much....I've actually got it on craigslist and other forums for trade...just to see if any offers catch my eye.

sc's in my opinion are one of the best cars you can get for your money. the only other car i can see myself in would be a mk4 supra. 2js arnt horrible on gas and when daily driven that last forever, when boosted they can handle 1000+ horsepower on stock internals. i believe it won motor of the year acouple times dont remeber. oh yeah and RWD! instead of buying a new 2009 model car that full of electronics/ computers making the littlest things complicated "tire pressure monitoring systems" for instance where a regular mechanic cant even touch it without the right tools and informal training.

I've had my black '92 lexus sc300 5-speed for about 3 years now. Ever since i could remember ive always been a car fanatic and would dream about the perfect first car. My lexus is my pride and joy because i worked my a$$ off for it. I do all my maintenance and all my customizing. I love my car because i feel like my car loves me. Never left me stranded, never died on me, and always makes me feel like a million bucks. Its a beautiful relationship. Ill never and i mean never sell my lexus.

lol i hope you guys aren't driving a lexus just to try and pull ladies..
hot chick "ooooh you have a 10-16yr old lexus? sweet your such a baller!"
I had girlfriends when i drove a gutted 1990 DA integra with rust, the car don't make the man. I drive a Lexus cause they are built well, look awesome and overall great cars.
i think the people that put toyota badges on their lexus are just secure enough where they don't care if people think it's a lexus or a yota..
my car is shaved so i'm in the middle

Parking antennas are dealer-install or aftermarket items, not a factory option
A02B, R154. How about those features? Don't know about you but I would sure make use of a 5-speed and limited slip rear end that was never offered on the Lexus, not to mention the 1JZ and TEMS. An optioned up 2.5GT-TL has every option plus more than the SCX00's, with the exception of cloth seats. A Soarer 4.0GT-L could be equipped with reversing camera, a passive air suspension, an active hydraulic suspension, touchscreen navigation, and self-washing power folding mirrors.
In any case, the Soarers were a few steps ahead of the SC's.

Then sell it. You clearly don't appreciate the design end engineering that went into this car if you're calling the headlamps 'bug-eyes.' Furthermore, I don't think you understand how advanced and luxurious these cars were for their time. Remember, when these debuted in June 1991, everything else still looked a lot like a box on wheels.
