A customer of mine just totaled his black/tan one. If I buy it and swap everything into a different shell, can I be 120club by proxy? Thinking of pulling the vin tags and hanging me from the mirror like dog tags

Default Only 120? Stoked...

Don't know how I missed this thread over the past years. I've got one of them, had it since 2001. Burgundy (Plum is how it was originally described) with tan interior. 282K miles and counting. Somebody at a gas station or parking lot will ask me if I plan on selling it at least once every month or two.

Yikes...sad to see an SC in such bad shape. Hopefully I'll have one of these sooner or later

Gonzy, pictures don't tell the whole story. Car was t boned in that front wheel at 50 by an f150. The roof is dimpled in four places. It's done.

Going through this thread from page one , not unless I missed it , I didn't see this car on this thread. Hope to be able to give it a good drive train it rightfully deserves being 1 of the 120... a drive train that will call the attention even of the new cars making 800rwhp .

I am keeping the shell and will install my drive train. I am thankful to Aaron that he allowed me to take it back. I bought this car late last year and decided to pass it to him since at that time the 97+ front facia didn't have any appeal on me. But it had grown on me slowly and thinking about it more , there where only 120 of these 1997 5 speed so I might as well keep it and make it stand out.... give it a drive train it truly deserves... a stroker 3.4 with a 6 speed v160. Engine is being built by a well known Supraforums Vendor / Motor Shop. And truly ,this car is gorgeous and stunning for both its exterior and interior . Pictures don't even do it justice. I don't know of anyone who had seen this in person that didn't fall in love with it.

Current drive train and other parts I don't need are being parted out on Supraforums . I am just buying back what I sold to Aaron , the shell and the TT differential to help him out on his part out.
