How can we tell if it's a Legit 120? I posted in this thread awhile over a year or 2 ago about mine..

I'll chime in ,but don't want to give details. Based on the chart posted back a few weeks ago mine was produced in May. You can put me on there as confirmed/added to discussion. Unfortunately the original engine isn't in there anymore due to a cracked shim and N2O

I didn't have the money to do a GTE or single-T so it's just a Japan import GE, had to swap all the sensors out and change the upper oil pan.

^^^ It doesn't matter if you don't have the original engine. As long as it is one of the 1997 model 5 speed SC . Can you give us the VIN or the following info so we can update your info.

Good Question ... nothing for now. I took all the 97 body kit and lights and installed them on one of my 1992 SC so I have one with a 97 Look. I was thinking if I will still keep it, I will install a shine body kit on it . The whole black interior and pedals, I am gonna use on my Old Man's Tan 1992 SC for now since I wanted a 6speed SC.

Truly I don't need a 4th SC so I might sell the bare rolling shell to someone who has a salvaged, rebuilt or bad 5 speed shell (like one in a bad accident) and move everything they have on it. . They get the benefit of a rare and clean1997 5speed SC300 shell with 115k miles on the body.

Honestly I don't know . My plans are just so fluid right now. Nothing set in stone. If someone will give me a good or reasonable offer on it, then I will let the bare shell go.

you don't know how proud i am to see my name on that list. like being a dad. well almost. its like being the dad of a prodigy i took my car with its fresh SUPRA TT wheels to discount tire and got some new rubber i am loving the look my 1/120 is growing into.
