so if i buy this back plate that should be all i need to make it look like ChronoJ1 right? or is it a kit that comes with blubs...

The kit is all you need.

So you pop the clear cover off, slide the needles off then stick on this overlay? Do i understand the process?

Yes, that's pretty much it... of course you would need to wire it. Simple wiring... just power and ground.

Im curious to see how these look in the day with the sun shining through the window right on them.
They seem like they would have to be really bright to shine through the stock tinted cover on the cluster

Wow, that turned out really nice. A buddy of mine had that type of dash in his 1rst Gen GS, and I loved it then. Good to see it looks just as nice in the SC
