^ Thank you very much. After watching all these other SC owners asking so much money for a pretty much stock Car I figured I would test the waters as well. I just posted a price on Car domain, Not really trying to push a sale.

After 2 days of research i found out info on the shifter but it is no longer made =/
It is made by Pilot model number "Pm-136s" the 136r and 136b are available but there red and blue and ugly as ****.

This particular shifter is the best thing i have seen interms of a usable shifter for this mod for a few reasons,
1: its a pushdown style shifter, no ugly release button.
2: its a pushdown style shifter that has a sleved type design where the top slides down over the base when u are pusing down on it allowing you to mount it securly as 2.5t stated.
3: its short and not ungodly big and ugly.

ive only found 1 place that may have them in stock and they have been discoutinued for awhile. happy hunting if anyone finds this knob available plz let us know

Checkout Razo auto knobs. I remember they made some push down ones. Just do a search on google or ebay for "razo auto* knob".

I noticed too that only red and blue were available online, for $10 I would just buy that one and wet sand or strip off the translucent paint.

Sweeet!.....I might just buy one of the blue or red ones just to take apart and see if i can mod a 5spd knob to work. Would get a gated shifter but they have become hard to find and very expensive. This is a nice looking alternative thanks!

i love how this mod throws most people off when they sit in your car, see the shifter, then automatically start looking for a clutch pedal, lol

I remember i did this same exact shifter mod on my 2000 Galant back in 2004 using a Pilot(then later a Varis knob) shift knob and black vinyl/carbon-look boot. everyone loved it. It only cost me about $25 back then.

its nice to see more and more people catching on..

very nice everyone.

I dont mind if it doesn't look manual, i actually just wished i could use a extra shift knob i have.

but i guess it Has to be push* in order to work since mine is not gated. (92 SC)

ill see if i can make it work out. if not I keep it as is till I save for 5 speed swap.
