Hey everyone, I was just wondering what all would be required to fit a 275/40/18 tire under the rear of my SC300.

I have Kazera KZ-A wheels on it (+35 offset), and Tein SS coilovers that have lowered the rear at least an inch.

I can raise the rear up a tad if I need to, and I am going to see about getting the fenders rolled. Would I have to get anything else done to fit these?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, because I REALLY want the thick rear tire look on the car, and I think a 40 sidewall would be my best option for this.

40 is really fat for a 275. It's gonna look poopy. something shorter would be better.

you will need at least 9 inch rims...as for offsets, you will need to search. Getting the gist of tire fitment is not hard at all

I forgot to mention that the wheel is a 9.5" wide wheel. I understand that there is the wheel & tire fitment thread, but I want my question answered without guessing about other information.

When I said once again, I meant that I had another thread about this same tire problem and didn't get a straight answer. I thought that I'd try again, but I will look through the wheel & tire fitment thread to get a better idea.

They should fit fine.

I'm running 19x10.5 +25 with a really stretched 235, so figuring yours are slightly higher offset, a skinnier wheel, but fatter tire, I'm thinking with a rolled fender it should fit fine.

Wheel/tire fitment eh....No joke but buy the wheels and tires first and slap them on the car. Then where it rubs, just roll it. Thats how you do it, get the wheels first and make it fit.

275/40 will be a little thick in there. Rear should fit no problem but would be a little thick back there. Might even be tall enough to set the speedo off by a bit. I would go with a 35 series than a 40. I currently have 255/40 R17 (Supra rears) and fit just fine although there a few members who have put 275/40s on them with good results. With 18s logic suggests that a slightly shorter sidewall will keep the overall wheel diameter close to stock.

I understand the logic behind the 35 series rubber, but like I said, it's personal preference with me wanting the 40 series. So, in short, the tires WILL fit with JUST a roll?

fyi, IMHO that *****OFFICIAL WHEEL & TIRE FITMENT THREAD**** is just about ****OFFICIALLY USELESS**** half the pictures dont load and its hundreds of people saying "sweet!" and "what suspension is that?!"

You'd be better off just providing the link to http://intellexual.net/ and tell them to go to the wheel/tire size reference sheet.

I'd highly recommend Intellexual.net. Im going to have to clean up the wheel and tire thread but still I highly encourage our members to keep posting their pictures and wheel specs.
