Default My mods so far (a lot of pics)

First mod i did was do a 92 fog light conversion with a relay harness. Of course while i was at it i replaced the bulbs with yellow 1156 . They give a very uniform yellow tint. If you look close enough at the bulbs you can see a small hairline strike of red, which is the filament.

My second mod as lexus isx50 wiper blades. They are slightly larger then the stock blades, so they increase the area cleared when they sweap.

After that i got lexus es300 washer nozzles. As said they do spray slight lower then the stock oems. But the spray pattern is actually even. Also the spray hits the wiper blades, but its no big deal since most of the spray goes over the blades and if u hold the button the wipers will move, allowing all the fluid to hit the windshield

After that i did an led retrofit into every part of the car.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lig...ing-guide.html
That guide is very helpful. Its right about almost everything. One thing i would add is for the light above the 3 pedels. The guide says once you put the 74 led bulb into place. The clear plastic thing will keep the led bulb in place. For me that wasnt true. On the end of the 74 bulb are the metal lines that will touch the inside of the socket to give the bulb power. Both of them wrap around the bulb. Well i made them not wrap about. I folded the 2 metal strips onto themselves. This gives the bulb extra sticking power in the socket and will keep it from moving.

Color difference of stock halogen bulbs v white leds bulbs.

Then a couple days ago I installed a hid kit.

Today i adjusted my headlights. The stock projector are dipped way too much. This gives you about 2-3 car lengths of light. By making the low beams dip very slightlt and becoming almost flat you get a LOT of extra lighting. 2x+

I won't lie my 92 projectors are trash. The mercury cougar bosch halogen projectors actually give a thick blue cut off line when converted to hid. The stock 92 projector when uncleaned give off no blue cutoff line and when cleaned gives off like a 1 mm cut off line.

I'm thinking about taking the glass out of a cougar projector and just replacing the stock glass. IDK how it would work since the distance between the bulb and the glass are different between the 2 projectors.

Awesome mods. These seem basic but I'm sure they improve a lot with the car and just make it overall more fresh and modern. Nice work

in order

Sound system. Alpine touch screen. rockford fosgate amps, focal front speakers (no rears), cap, 2 JL W6 woofers in a sealed box. Not sure on the size tho or the best placement in the trunk. If anyone has any ideas tell me.
(All work done by me of course)

Rims & Brake calipers (ls400 or supra) red paint

97+ tail lights and 3 spoke wheel

Then save up for a 2jz-gte JDM to USDM converion and a v160/1 , rear diff, intercooler, fuel pump, exhaust ect. (all the usual stuff for the swap)

Lastly suspension.

Also i gotta put white smt leds into the gauge cluster and AC. Plus send off the needles to get them remade in red.

I might make myself a custom CAI using exhaust tubing to hold me over until i get the 2jz-gte. On my 1mz-fe the CAI i made a HUGE difference in sound. I can only image how much better the 2jz would sound with a CAI. Plus the stick shift already gives it a pretty sound.

ADDED PICS:
in real life this door has no glare

Oh ya here is a picture of my baby.

Nice subtle mods. If you were going through the trouble of retrofitting a new projector in, you might as well get an HID projector...

I would also consider suspension way before the swap.

I have 2 mercury cougar projectors lying around, thats why i might just remove the glass and create a hybrid projector using the existing sc projector with the new glass.

I've done a projector retrofit before and its a hassle. The biggest difference i notice between my stock projectors and cars with hid projectors is the cleaner, no glare cut-off line and the blue cut-off line. And a smoother light distribution as well.

The cougars glass gives you the blue-cut off line and honestly thats all i really care about.
