Thumbs up Looking to buy a JDM sc400

Im currently stationed in Germany at Spangdahlem AB
there's a 1992 JDM SC400 (right hand drive) for sale
asking $3,000 US.Dollars.//// 80,000KM(49k Miles) on the clock
looks to be in very good condition, no major work done to it, a few small cosmetic issues like cracked paint and foggy headlights.
Also has a stock gps system it looks like.
I'm meeting the owner tomorrow morning to see it and check it out.

Is this a good offer?
I will be shipping it back to the states in 2 years too if i buy it so will i be able to do that?. I'm sort of new to Lexus's but have been in imports for a few years. All your advice will be helpful. thank you If i like it, i'll take a few pictures and post on here for you to see.

good mileage. However the issue is going to be the fees that it will cost to import. Also the whole RHD vs LHD in the US will open a can of worms here about safety.

the price is of course good but when you take into account the import fees you might be at the price you could buy one in the states. However you need something over there now so why not

Regarding active suspension read the TEMS (TEMS is toyota electronically modulated suspension) or air ride suspension threads.

It looks like its a problematic system.

If its a 1992 its not an SC430. Unless someone stuffed the 4.3L in it.

Post the pictures you have.
