Default HID on Ebay

I recently found a site that sold HID in whatever "color" you want for $80 a pop. Are these any good? I thought the bulbs cost more than that to replace. Has anybody used these or know someone that did? they would solve a lot of my problems.

Thanks,

John

basically all the hid kits you get are going to be ones from china. I agree with that one guy about finding a vendor in the states. That way you dont have to worry about shipping.

Personally i just bought a 4300k 9006 kit from mod-express with the toyota nation code. Its a bit more expensive then the cheeper kits, but the shipping is FAST.

You get what you pay for really. I bought one, and its MEH. Let me put it this way. My 02 Sentra puts out more light than my SC with these "HIDs". With that being said. Probably the best possible option to get the most output would be to retro and go with a legit brand.

Buying in the states means nothing if its still on ebay. They can just as easily source their products from China, and just order in bulk to cut down the costs. Go with good quality first, so it will last.

Yea I paid $95.00 installed for mine from a guy on craigslist.com and they are great. Most of these kits that cost between 80 and 150 are the same crap. Even if they only last a year I say it is worth it for $80 dollars. I also agree with finding a vendor in the states because they will usually give you some sort of personal warranty what ever thats worth lol.

Don't buy HIDs on eBay.

order through DDMTuning.com. It's the cheapest place around, and the ballasts have a lifetime warranty, and the bulbs have a year warranty. My friends and I have been using them for a few years now with no problems at all.

They're a little backed up on orders because of the low prices, but I guarantee you won't be disappointed with their kits.

DO buy kits off ebay. I have one of those kits that you get for 80 shipped and it has been working 100% for a year now. The brand I got and heard good things about from others was Xentec and thats what I have for my lows at 6000k. This month im going to buy some 6k HIDs for my fogs from the same brand.

Actually, DDM told me I have lifetime on my bulbs I bought alone too. He said that if one ever goes out, send them a message and they'll send you 2 new ones, so they match. Talk about service
